Yale University Professor Paul Franks interviewed Rabbi Chaim Yehudah (Yudel) Krinsky, the personal secretary of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe OBM and Secretary General of the Lubavitch movement. 

On Tuesday June 25th, 2024, a group of Intellectuals gathered at the home of Marlene and Dan Arbess to explore the genius of Talmudic thought. The event was opened by Shabtai member Matt Beck and moderated by Dan Arbess. Rabbi Shmully Hecht and Liel Leibovitz led the discussion on the Talmud. 

On Tuesday Feb 18th 2025 Yale students gathered in the ballroom of the Anderson Mansion to engage in a conversation about Jewish Mysticism and AI.

Every Monday evening, I listen to the dead. I meet over Zoom with a Rabbi named Moishe Kaplan, and read through passages of the Babylonian Talmud: a 2,711-page collection of tales and debates, roughly 1500 years old and written in Aramaic and Hebrew.

On Oct 7th 2024, Shabtai commemorated the lives of those murdered on this horrific day, by hosting a concert titled “We Shall Dance Again” at the Anderson Mansion at Yale. The event was attended by Yale students, faculty, alumni and friends. World renowned composer/singer Yehuda Green performed for hours as the Yale community wept and danced into the late evening.

On October 28th 2014, General Yaakov Amidror, the Former National Security Advisor of Israel, was invited to Shabtai Yale where he delivered a talk on the threats to Israel.

On September 23rd 2023, US Attorney Vanessa Avery, Shabtai Director Toby Hecht, and SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Global Industrial Company, Adina Storch, delivered a talk at Shabtai NYC about women and leadership.

On May 30th 2023, Brandeis President Ron Liebowitz was invited to speak at Shabtai Boston to discuss the future of Jewish engagement on college campuses.
